I never really got to update all of you guys on on what ministry looked like in South Africa because it just kept on changing, but we’ve been in Thailand for about a month and I want to share what our days at ministry kind of look like. I decided to take my camera to ministry and just take a couple videos randomly throughout the day to let you see a small glimpse of it all. We have worked at a couple shipping containers and are currently spending our days at Acts Co. Book House. It has already been such an amazing time because our ministry hosts are just some of the nicest people ever. They always make sure we are taken care of and just showed us how to stand there with welcoming open arms to people you don’t even know yet.
Recently we have moved more than a few bookcases (that are much taller, wider, and heavier than us) and wow let me tell you I have never been more thankful for times when i’ve got my dad to move or carry heavy things because I just really didn’t think it would be possible for me to. However, it’s been hilarious and so difficult trying to see just how much we can push ourselves to make sure those bookcases got up the two flights of stairs to exactly where they needed to go. We’ve painted different things to brighten up the place, organized books and bibles, and boxed up even more books and bibles. This has been such a special place that I absolutely love helping at. Day one they made sure we saw the purpose in each and every thing we were being told to do. The books and bibles are all completely free and have such an impact in not only this community but other parts of the world.
