Greetings from VIETNAM!!!!!
My team and I have been in Vietnam for about two weeks now. Getting here was no easy feat. In order to get from San Salvador, El Salvador to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam it took my team and I 4 flights (25 hours and 45mins), 4 layovers (16 hours and 45 minutes), 2 long customs lines (3hours), 2 van rides (50mins), and a partridge in a pear tree.
As you can imagine, it can get a bit overwhelming, exhausting, and down right boring when you spend more than half a day sitting in random airports and more than an entire day in the air. To help us keep our sanity and to also have a little fun, our Storyteller leaders organized a little scavenger hunt to be carried out over our 3 days of travel.
Here is my team’s photo evidence from our scavenger hunt!
1. Take a farewell Central America picture in the San Salvador airport:

3. Take a picture of you out and about in the good old U.S. of A. You’re on American soil boiiiiii!!!!!

6. Keep a running tally of how many coffees your team drinks over the course of travel days:
We drank a total of 11 coffees!
