I want to send out a huge thank you to everyone for your birthday wishes this week! I had a wonderful 27th birthday and felt extremely loved! Second, thank you to everyone who has been able to donate to my G42 tuition either by direct donation or by buying a key for the journey!! Your sacrifice and willingness to support God’s calling in me is a huge blessing! It encourages and builds my faith every single day. Every single person I get to speak to, share the gospel with, is being touched by YOU. I wouldn’t be able to share what God has placed (and is growing) inside of me without your prayers, encouragement and financial support! Thank you for sharing the kingdom!
As of right now, I actually have not reached my financial goal but I do have until arrival now to achieve it!! That’s 5 days! I know God can multiply 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread in a single moment! He is not a God of an amount, He’s a God of sacrifice.
“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measure back to you.” Luke 6:38
God has blessed me with an insane amount of faith and confidence in this journey. I know He has called me. I know He has called me at this specific time. I know He has said He will provide. This means, I will literally get on my plane even if the funds aren’t fully there in full faith that He will provide them while I’m in the air. I trust Him with everything.
“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:3
In this season I’ve been challenged with looking at the rest of my life. To make the ‘right’ decisions in order to live a safe life. I don’t want that. I’m not looking for a comfortable or safe life. I want to live a life where I wildly pursue God and place all of my trust in His plan that I can’t see yet. I’d much rather live my life in an apartment sharing about the hope and power of God than pursue the home, 401k, nice car and so on. Are those things a desire and God blesses others, and may one day bless me with that? Yes. But it’s not going to be what I chase after. First and foremost, I chase Christ.
So here’s my ask:
1. Pray pray pray. Pray for my own journey! Pray for this country. Pray for this world. Pray for boldness for all Christians to share the gospel. Pray for an increase in faith in all believers. Pray every time there is a moment of stress. Pray every time you see someone who is not at peace. There is so much power in prayer.
“Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18
2. Step out in bold faith. I don’t what that looks like in your life. If it’s a change in career, sharing the gospel with a coworker, talking to the homeless person you see constantly, or choosing to lead a Bible study. Ask God what step He is asking you to take and step out in faith! I am always so encouraged to see God move in all of our lives!
“For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
3. I need financial partners right now. Whether you can sacrificially commit to a monthly donation or can sacrificially donate one time right now, it would be a blessing! Don’t worry about the amount. Simply ask God how He would like you to partner and that is more than enough!!
“By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others.” 2 Corinthians 9:13
