Cambodia
God I know there’s a reason that all of the ministry plans have fallen through. I’m not scared though because I know you have just the right work for us to do. God I thank you for the Adventures base, for the missionaries and their families. I pray that they would be ready and open to us coming as we work alongside them in partnership. I pray for the people they have been ministering to and that when we come into the community, that you would give us an awareness. Aware of their culture and that we wouldn’t do anything that might ruin the reputation of the hosts. Help us to use our time wisely and lead us with your Spirit. Give us an understanding heart of their history. I pray for the women that are trapped in sex trafficking. If we get the opportunity to minister to them, God help us to have a sweet and gentle spirit. Help us to be vulnerable with them and say only what you would have us to say. Help us to honor them well and not push religion. Help us to show true love. I pray for those that have been displaced because of the rising water levels from the Laos dam collapse. You know where each and everyone are right now, I pray that they would feel your comfort surrounding them and a hope that so much good is to come. Thank you for Cambodia God, thank you for calling me here.
Ethiopia
God thank you for Africa. Thank you that this place is not a coincidence to be on my route. Thank you for those that we’re going to come in contact with. I pray that their hearts would change, their eyes be opened, and an understanding of your love. I come against any spiritual warfare that we will face, in your name. The enemy has no hold on us and he does not belong where we will be staying or near the people we will be ministering to. Help me to show your love to the orphans, that it’s okay to be sad, but that their joy will far outshine the sadness we may feel. Have your way in whatever ministry you want us to do.
Nicaragua
God I thank you for adding Nicaragua to our route. Whether we are able to go to this country or if you have somewhere else in mind, God I pray that you would just do whatever you want us to. We know that when we signed up for this, it may not be safe, and if that means going to Nicaragua, then that means going to Nicaragua. I know that you will use us to bring peace to the unrest. I pray for the AIM base and the missionary and his family. All the staff living there or if they might have left to go to a safer place, I pray that a hedge of protection would surround them. I pray that the people would want something so much more than the violence that is there and that they would turn to you for peace, protection and guidance. I am believing that seeds would be planted on both sides. That the leaders in this country would seek your counsel. Help us to submit and honor the Holy Spirit. Help us to truly understand that you are our only refuge and peace.
Costa Rica
I thank you for creating Costa Rica and the people that live there. I pray that their dissatisfaction would lead to satisfaction in you. That they would be hungry for more. Thank you for the AIM base, for Doug and Renee Duffy and for Johnny and Christin and their daughters Ellie and Emma. Thank you for calling them, and for their obedience. Help us to see the beauty in the culture, the people, the places, everything. Thank you for putting Costa Rica as our last destination on our route. I pray that we would be fully engaged even until the last day. Help us to finish well and also give us an excitement for the next season.
Logistics
Help us to have a universal mind, to not get frustrated with language barriers, but to have patience and be bold in everything we say. I pray for each person on the squads health. Put a shield of protection around our entire bodies. Help us to remember that even if we do get sick, you are still good. I pray for every pilot and driver. I thank you for the leaders and mentors that you have gifted us with. Give them times of rest for all that they will be pouring out into us. I thank you for their obedience in serving you. Thank you Jesus!
United States
God open my eyes to those in my hometown, those at Walmart, those next to me pumping gas, and the homeless person sitting outside of Waffle House. Help me to not wait next month to live missionally in Cambodia, but to start right now. Everywhere that I go, every person that I see, Holy Spirit lead me. Lead me in what to do and say. I pray for the leadership in America, for the lost and hurting. God help me to show grace. I pray for those that have never heard your name or maybe they have but have chosen not to follow you, God use me to reach those. Use me to love those that feel unloved. I pray for broken families, God that you would restore them. I pray that people would be healed and those that are in jail would come to you in their sin and shame and that they would find restoration. Thank you Jesus for the freedom we have to worship you. You’re so so good.
