Meet the Blue J’s Storyteller Team Leaders. I mentioned them briefly in my Training Camp video, but here’s a bit more information about them.
Hi! I’m Amy Johnson and I’m from Blythewood, SC. I just graduated from Anderson University in Anderson, SC! This year, I’m looking forward to learning about how to empower others to share their stories and being an outlet for people’s voices to be heard. I’m also excited to grow in different storytelling mediums. My original plan was to just share through written blogs, but I recently got a camera so I’m looking forward to learning more about photography and videography. I’ve watched the Office completely thirteen times.
Hi, I’m Tyler! I’m from Mississippi and I’m 21 years old. I’m excited to share intentional and powerful stories from the Race through photo and video. I’m excited to serve as our squad’s storytelling leader by equipping others to share their experiences as well. Some fun facts: I can make pigeon noises and I’m taking four pairs of shoes on the Race.
What’s popping, my name is Christian Cudworth and I’m from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I am 21 years old and have been called to the Race for many more reasons than I have room or time to explain. I look forward to you getting to know me better through my vlogs and updates through the wonderful power of the internet. My Youtube Channel is “Christian Cudworth” and everything I experience on the Race, the Lord has made it possible for you to come alongside us on this adventure.
My name is Ashley and I’m from North Carolina. I’m so excited to be my team’s storyteller leader this year because I have a newfound passion for videography, and am eager to grow in my knowledge and experience in this medium over the course of the World Race. I can’t wait to capture engaging stories of what the Lord is doing around the world and share them with you! My hope is to ignite inspiration through the stories I collect. A few things about me that you may or may not know: I have an obsession with cats, I tried a burger for the first time last Sunday, and my favorite show is The Office.
Hi, my name is Angelica Moore. I also go by Angie. I am really looking forward to all of the opportunities to tell stories across the world. I have been praying for opportunities to share other people’s stories for most of the year so far and this is literally been an answered prayer to do exactly that. My preferred medium is writing, but I am most looking forward to developing my photography and videography skills. Some fun facts about me: I chose our route partially for our last four months (Eastern Europe) because I love Slavic people, countries, and languages.
Some context: we are all at Launch right now. All of the leadership teams and two full squads got here to Atlanta before the rest of the Racers get to Launch. In the Storytelling break out, where all of the Storyteller Leaders are getting further training, we were told to go an ~create~ and share a story, and what better way to share a story than to tell the stories of those I will be surrounded by. I love these people, they are so incredibly talented, and each have a medium that they are PHENOMENAL at!
Peace, love, and rest,
Angie Moore
Prayer Requests:
- Safety and security as a few hundred people come to Atlanta in one of the least safe parts of the country for the next few days,
- More financial support as most of my team and I are still trying to become fully funded,
- Ability to be present fully, during Launch, the World Race, and the rest of my life, and
- That I do not consume any foods other drinks that I am allergic to (had a scare earlier today).
Praise Reports:
- I believe all of my squad is somewhere in the hotel, safe, sound, and preparing for the World Race,
- All of my squad has met the $10,000 mark (this is still amazing and you can’t tell me otherwise), and
- I am desiring to process all of the emotions that I (would rather not) feel.
