Hey everyone! I know it’s been a while since the last time I wrote, so I wanted to share with everyone what God has been doing!
First up…Training Camp!! WOW!!
It was amazing, exhausting, exhilarating, challenging, “eye opening”…I could go on forever with these adjectives! I met my squad mates, squad leaders, squad coaches, and squad mentor. All of whom are amazing people that I am excited to do life with over the next year and beyond! Once again, God revealed to me that His hand is lining up this entire mission. I personally could not have picked a better squad to be a part of. These people are amazing!! I do not use the word perfect often, but since God ordained this squad for me to be a part of I will. This squad is perfect for me. This is exactly the squad I need to be a part of, and I am grateful for their acceptance. Also, we were placed into our Teams that we will live and carry The Great Commission with throughput the nations! (This team is also amazing, and I will be writing a blog later on to introduce everyone to each)
So Training Camp was awesome, and I am looking forward to God’s plan, but these vaccines I could do without (at least the side effects). I won’t talk to much here, but I would ask for prayers in this category. These vaccines drain my energy, give flu like symptoms and just make me want to sleep. Not the way I want to feel when I need to be staying in shape and active for Christ. I know there will be times on this journey and in life when I am exhausted and don’t feel great, so I ask that you would pray for a strength that is beyond “human understanding”.
I want to thank everyone for their financial and prayer support. In all honesty, I have wavered at times in my faith that deadlines, equipment and vaccine funds would be provided on time, but every time, each one of these has been provided. That is God, and all of you being obedient and offering your time and money to support and join with me on this mission. I am sorry for my lack of faith at times, and I thank you for your support!
I will ask two more things for your prayer support, 1) that my faith would not waver, but be steadfast, and 2) that deadlines would continue to be met.
Thank you for taking time to read what has been laid on my heart. Thank you for the prayers and support you have provided. I am greatly appreciative that you are taking this journey with me, and would not want to without you.
