Searching, seeking, desperate for an answer when He told me to change my major from veterinary medicine my sophomore year of college…”Lord, what do You want me to do with my life?! Anything! Anywhere! I am Yours!!! I don’t have a plan B…please…help!”

Facedown on my bedroom floor, this was my cry! Every time I came to my Father with this plea, He always responded with the same answer…

Eventually the Lord clarified and gradually led me down the path to become an Occupational Therapist (OT). Despite many twists and turns and far more doubts than I care to admit, I can confidently say, His leadership is perfect. He knows what He’s doing, and He knows me better than I know myself.

The Lord’s been very clear that Loving people with His Love does not just come through missions, but through living every day for Him, with Him. I’ve been working full-time as an OT for nearly the last 4 years, which has been an exciting mission field in itself. For the last several months, however, the Lord has been doing some amazing healing and deliverance in me, with a new phrase resounding loudly inside…

Through many different missions opportunities, ministries and relationships leading to this point in my life, the Lord has made it clear that He’s put His heart in me for His creation and for the Nations. I couldn’t be more excited to announce that in this season of my journey, He’s leading me into an amazing opportunity – The World Race – through a missions organization I have so much respect and admiration for called Adventures in Missions.
