I M P O R T A N T U P D A T E S
UPDATE #1: I’m back in the States safe and sound and am currently perched in front of the fireplace trying to stay warm in this frigid Ohio winter. Being home for Christmas has been such a blessing and I will forever cherish the moments I get to sit in the same room as my family! I’m soaking up every minute and trying to find moments to breathe in the midst of the crazy busy holiday festivities. It’s fun. It’s good. It’s weird.
UPDATE #2: I’M MOVING TO GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA!!! No, this is not a drill. I’m actually moving very very soon. Like in a couple weeks (crazy!). In my last couple months of the Race, I began asking the Lord what’s next. I had heard about several alumni opportunities, but none of them really sounded appealing initially. As I continued praying, the Lord highlighted CGA (Center for Global Action), a 5 month discipleship program with Adventures in Missions where the focus is digging deeper into knowing yourself in order to lead yourself and others. Before teaming up with Z Squad, I was already praying and prepared to say yes to CGA. This is my next step. This makes sense. I am beyond excited!
UPDATE #3: I will not be using this blog during my time in CGA. Don’t worry, it’ll be okay. I actually have a different blog specifically for CGA, so I’ll be using that one instead. So, in order to receive updates and stay connected with this next journey, please head over to my CGA blog and hit that subscribe button.
UPDATE #4: I am yet again in another season of support raising. Please pray! The total cost of the program is $6000, which includes housing, program materials and instructors. I’m needing to have $2000 raised on/before January 17th (let’s do this!) I am re-launching my shirts as a way to raise funds for this program and remind people how loved they are by the Father.
