I will tell you the reason why I put Queen Elsa as my title later. I promise!
I had such a great month in Indonesia! The Lord was so good to me this month. So good!! Even as I’m writing this, my heart is doing a happy dance. I can’t seem to get enough of it seems. I’m so excited to tell you guys all about it!
A lot of things happened this month. Self realizations happened to me a lot this month and they are still happening during debrief. I love when that happens! I get so excited when that happens!! It makes me work to be a better Christ like person.
We did a awesome ministry this month. It was another Ask The Lord month. So we asked the Lord and found a village in need of people to teach English. We went to that village and taught English to children but it wasn’t in the regular sense. We were teaching English to the people we were staying with. We were teaching them English so that they can teach English to their village. They have this awesome goal of teaching English to the people in their village which consists over two million people.
But besides teaching English for a whole two weeks in the village we were staying in, we built relationships with these people my team and I were staying with. They loved us wholeheartedly and were so joyful. I was able to find my joy again. It was like a long lost friend returning. I loved every minute when we were in the village even when I fell accidentally in mud. With the people loving us wholeheartedly, I was able to love wholeheartedly. It was such an amazing month!!
So y’all are probably wondering why I put Queen Elsa as my title. When my team and I first met the people we were staying with, they thought I had said Elsa instead of Allyson. By the time they learned my real name they had already started to call me Queen Elsa.
