Hey, guys!
My name is Ali, and I am PUMPED to be going on the World Race in August of 2018!
I’ll just take this space to tell y’all a little more about myself, but make sure to check out my first blog, [ Redeemed ], to get a better glimpse of why I am going and what this trip will look like!
SO…about me. I’ve never been the best at describing myself (can anyone else relate??), but I’ll give it a shot.
A few things I enjoy: hiking, road tripping, yoga, enoing (surely this is a verb at this point?), spending time with family, and doing pretty much anything outdoors. Oh, and I love adrenaline rushes. I’ve been skydiving, bungee jumping, and free-falling, and I hope to do each again!

I’m from Austin, Texas (hook ’em horns), but I’ve been living in Lynchburg, VA for the past four years for school. I’m currently a senior at Liberty University, and I am majoring in Human Services with a minor in Autism.
what in the world do I want to do with my life?
{ love God • love His people • see as much of His creation as possible in the process }
The Lord has given me a heart for children and adults with special needs, particularly those with autism, and I desire to spend my life serving God by being the hands of feet of Christ in this way. Doing so brings me inexpressible joy as it provides the opportunity to teach not only the child/adult with special needs that they are immensely loved and created with intention and purpose by the Creator, but to also share this with the family as well.
There’s probably a lot that I’m leaving out, but those are a few basic facts about moi!
Oh! Also, I’m a total goof, I love food (ALL THE FOOD), I have the most adorable 10 month old little brother, and I consume an unimaginable amount of chocolate chips and candy corn on a daily basis. And yes, candy corn CAN be found year round.
Anyways, if you have any questions about me or about this trip—feel free to comment or reach out! I’d love to talk (:
