I’m sorry for the lack of posting, but times have been crazy here in Myanmar.
This is a short blog I wrote at the veryy end of Thailand and I thought I would share it with you now because it’s still just as important now as it was then.
I’m not going to tell you anything about Myanmar just yet. That will have to be a surprise for later 😉
I’m Tired
I’m tired. I know, shocking right?
But it’s much deeper than a physical tired.
Yes, I am physically tired.
But after being on mission continuously for 8 months, I am more than physically tired.
I noticed it the other day when I woke up and my hands began to hurt. It seemed like such an odd pain but it was painful for me to open and close my hands. They weren’t swollen, they were just sore (I am happy to report they are doing much better and my pinky no longer hurts to move).
I stared at my hands as I felt them loosen more and more as I continued to slowly open and close them. My hands hurt. My hands were tired.
I am physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally tired. This final month of the race has truly come at the perfect time.
But I have really good news. My energy source never runs dry.
There is still one more month and a whole country left to go.
I may be tired, but I have a sustainer and provider who is ever faithful.
I may be tired, but my God is not.
Thanks for reading this short bloggo. I promise there will be more to come very soon with more information on my time here in Myanmar!
