I am currently in India! my 7th country (out of 11) on the field! I have another 5 months left on the field and I’ll get to be reunited with everyone! 🙂 This blog is an update from a blog I posted a couple months ago. I had reached out with an ask for personal fundraising. My personal goal is a total of $1,500. Thanks to family and friends I’ve raised $550 through PayPal and $300 through GoFundMe! Which leaves me with $650 to reach my goal. I’ve been able to be part of so many amazing ministries. From helping a woman’s dream come true about having a restaurant. To street evangelism with about 80 lives (to date from beginning of trip) that have made the decision to receive Jesus into their hearts!! To teaching English to the children of the floating village in Cambodia. Ministry into the Unreached People Groups of Nepal’s jungles and mountains. Going into prisons and hospitals. Helping ex-convicts get back on their feet in a life rooted in Christ after being in prison for murder, human trafficking, rape, etc. Healings have happened; physical, emotional and spiritual!
Praises to God, I have raised the financial support needed to cover my cost of living while on the field; lodging, airplane and bus travel and food(3$-5$ per day for food). These funds were raised by me through the World Race organization and are held by World Race because they take care of payments, in the background, with these funds.
I sold many belongings before leaving the US but had to use most of those funds to pay for immunizations and to buy supplies before leaving the US; and the remainder of those funds is coming to an end. I am reaching out because I would also like to raise $1,500 for my personal account for the next 5 months left on the field. By giving through my PayPal or GoFundMe accounts(info below), I will be able to access these funds directly from the field, and would be so grateful!
These personal funds will help replenish my supplies. Access to food with needed nutrients or healthy food. Some foods such as fruits and vegetables, sometimes even meat, is limited so I need to take/replenish vitamins throughout the months. When I do have access to such foods, I would love to someday have a meal other than rice and sauce. Although I’m quite grateful for even just that!
I’d also use personal funds to buy new clothing (as I’ve lost some weight) and clothes also get ruined with time with labor or because of using river/lake water for washing. We also have the opportunity of a couple “off days” each month, and this would allow me to join my teammates on some fun outings/exploring… such as going to the city, a movie, a restaurant, etc. No spending for outings will be covered by the World Race funds raised so, if I join my teammates, any spending has to be from personal funding.
