Wandanalu friends!
We have arrived in India! It’s hot, it’s spicy (the food), and it’s full of the goodness of the Lord!
We landed in Hyderabad just over a week ago, spent two days learning about the culture and the spiritual environment of India, then boarded a bus that brought us to a place called Ongel, which is 8hrs south of Hyderabad.
In Ongel, we got to partner with a ministry organization and visit numerous villages (over 7days) that they have been reaching with the gospel.
In those villages we got to minister to the church through door to door visits and through preaching/sharing testimony in their gathering places. It was a great opportunity to see what God was doing in south eastern India and how the good news of Jesus was impacting these small villages for the glory of God.
During our time there we seen countless miracles, people delivered from spiritual bondage/oppression, people receiving Jesus in their hearts, and the church being empowered to walk in confidence and boldness.
On one occasion, I had the opportunity to preach the gospel to a crowd of 100 villagers, the majority being Hindu or recent convert Christians (see image below). It was an amazing experience and I look forward to many similar opportunities in the near future.
We are now back in Hyderabad for a 3 day awakening with another World Race squad. During this time we will be teaching, sharing testimonies, and pouring into each other to further prepare us for the months to come.
Following the awakening, we will be dividing back into our gender teams and traveling throughout India to arrive at our next ministry destination. After spending some time in prayer, our team (the men) feel led to start our ministry in the famous city of Kolkata, and possibly split and send a few guys north to the city of Patna. Both are very interesting places and very desperate for the good news of Jesus Christ.
I ask that you continue to lift our squad & manistry team to the Lord in prayer and that you continue to follow our journey through my blog or my Facebook page. If you would like to hear more about my journey, then I encourage you to message me through Facebook and I’ll gladly share more when possible.
I am truly thankful for your support and I pray that Jesus is doing a mighty work in your heart through this blog to the praise of His mighty name. I pray that you are seeking His truth and righteousness daily and that you are being filled with the good fruits of His holy presence.
Grace and peace be with you all.
Tristan
