“A nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return. Calling ten of his servants, he gave them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Engage in business until I come.’ But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’ When he returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by doing business. The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten minas more.’ And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’ And the second came, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made five minas.’ And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’ Then another came, saying, ‘Lord, here is your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief; for I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man. You take what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.’ He said to him, ‘I will condemn you with your own words, you wicked servant! You knew that I was a severe man, taking what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow? Why then did you not put my money in the bank, and at my coming I might have collected it with interest?’ And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to the one who has the ten minas.’ And they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas!’ ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.’

Hey friends,
Being on the World Race has allowed me to spend a lot more time in my bible, and through that Jesus continues to give me a deeper revelation of who he is, and what his heart is for all mankind.
Recently God has been challenging me on how I am responding to the grace that was poured out for me when Jesus gave his life for us on the cross. God has been teaching me what it means to fear Him
and to walk in a manner that is holy and pleasing to Him.
I have come to realize and strongly believe that when we receive the Holy Spirit into our lives, we are equipped with all that we need to live a life of radical freedom, and a life of victory over the schemes of the enemy.
Walking in confidence and victory as sons and daughters of the Most High is something I have been passionate about for over a year in my Christian walk.
As believers in Christ, we are all called to walk in victory and become a people that are not shaken by the elemental things of this world.
I have come to realize that if we refuse to respond to the grace and the victory of the cross, that we can fearfully expect the promised wrath and judgement that is repeatedly mentioned in the bible.
Through this blog post I want to encourage you (the reader) to self evaluate how you are responding to the gift of God, (which is the forgiveness of sins by the blood of Christ), and ask what you are doing with the empowerment of the promised Holy Spirit?
If you are unsure if you have the promised Holy Spirit within you then I encourage you to simply ask God and believe that He will give it to you. See Luke 11:9-13.
I have been a professing Christian for nearly two years and in that time I’ve realized that if you want to follow Jesus, it’s going to look much different then what the world defines as “normal”.
I know that through faith and obedience to His word, that God calls us to bless the nations and to restore them into a right relationship with the creator, the one true God, who is made known through Jesus Christ.
We have been set apart and called to be light in this dark and sinful generation and live our lives as a living sacrifice that is holy and pleasing to our loving Father (Romans 12).
He has poured out His Spirit and equipped us with all that we need to complete the task at hand. The question is, are we willing to lay down our worldly lives in exchange for a heavenly calling and an eternal reward? Or are we content with the simplicity of the world and the temporary pleasures that come with it?
Today I ask you (the reader); what are you doing with the ten minas that God has given to you?
