With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Those words describe how I feel approaching the task of fundraising for this trip. 
When Jesus calls us to follow him, He doesn’t give the slightest reassurance that it will be an easy thing to do. He actually does the exact opposite. When Jesus called me to The World Race, He didn’t reassure me that it would be an easy thing to do. He did the exact opposite. He promised me 18 months of wilderness wandering through a desert that has multiple trials and obstacles ahead. For the World Race, my first step into the desert begins at the fundraising process.
Fundraising has been non existent in my life. I’m starting at ground zero, and i’m trusting God that He will lead me through this desert wandering, just as He led Moses and the Israelite’s through theirs. Through this blog, I hope to give some basic information about my fundraising agenda, and why/how you can support me.
Agenda: I am currently in week one of my fundraising process. I have prayed, and prayed, and thought & prayed, and brainstormed some ideas for how to raise funds. I have created a Support Tracking Sheet and prepared a pre call letter. I plan to start making phone calls and arranging appointments within a week. I will continue to update subscribers/supporters through weekly blogs and Facebook posts.
Why you should support our team: You have the opportunity to partner in the work of building Gods kingdom on earth. Jesus calls us to make disciples of all nations and that is what our team is set out to do.
How you can support us: You can support our team in two different ways. Through prayer & finances. Prayer being the most significant. We ask that you consistently lift up our team to the Lord in prayer, and stay up to date on our progress and prayer requests through this blog. Financially; we encourage you to ask the Lord if this a cause that you are being called to support. Your donations are greatly appreciated and will be used in the most effective manor to build His kingdom on earth.
