It was hard to imagine sitting on a bus for roughly 20 hours with minimal stopping, but it happened and now it is over. We are finally in our new hometown of Tocopilla for the next month, Finally!, but its totally worth it the ride.

The sign letting us in on our driver, Hans Mandiolas’ driving time, velocity, and length of time driving. It didn’t change much.

Our VERY First Chilean Sunset seen outside of our lovely bus. A few cacti as well.

Typical traffic seemed to be buses and trucks, and unfortunately a very large amount of memorials off the road.

Even when we focus on what in directly in front of us, we can usually see whats out in the distance. YA its Profound!!

Even the few buildings along the way seem to blend into the chilean Desert.
Lastly, the colors of the Tocopilla houses are wonderful, Chilean flags everywhere, dogs wondering/sleeping everywhere, and this is home for a few weeks. Can’t beat a few like this. To the east, luckily is the Pacific ocean, which adds a nice touch to this steep mountainous desert town.
La belleza de los dioses está en todas partes, incluso en los desiertos más secos.
