MONTH 6! CRAZY! I’ve waited my whole Race for Nepal! What a time to be alive.

Ministry this month was a bit difficult for me. We visited places and met people that hit deep in my heart.

We made friends and encouraged women who worked in dance bars at night. It was cool for me to be in that atmosphere as someone who is just trying to love others instead of doing the things I used to enjoy there (BC, as I like to call it). In the bars, the girls looked helpless and hopeless and wanted to be anywhere but there. It was obvious that it wasn’t a life-giving job, but one worked out of necessity.

We visited a government housing area where quite impoverished people resided. Again, we just made friends, encouraged, and lended helping hands where it was needed. It was my favorite. I made so many friends and played such fun games with random kids.

My favorite ministry was our guesthouse hosts. I made it my mission to learn every ounce of wisdom and handiwork from them. They were missionaries in Tibet, which is a heavily Buddhist country that has a lot of ish happening on and off. They are incredibly brave and full of fire of the Holy Spirit. They are definitely people to look up to in how to live a bold and surrendered life for Christ.
