The past 7 days will definitely be one for the books. We traveled 13 hours (on a bus) to Chitwan Nepal. We did this to go and minister to the unreached people. The way these people live was absolutely mind blowing. It seems like something from a movie and these people work all day farming just to survive. They lack education, medicine, purified water… you name it. We hiked everyday from as little to half an hour all the way to 6 hours just to see these people and spread the word and love of God.

funny moment (i think) the day we hiked for 6 hours the pastor that led us to some of the people in other villages told us that there was a man who was killed , along with his two cattle, by a tiger. :,)

back to ministry and stuff thats been going on!

I read through Corinthians and something that kept stumping me is when Paul would mention lowering himself to better minister. He would act jewish, and pretend to be sick just to lower himself to those he ministered to in order to better connect and spread the gospel. Just being American and having on my Patagonia shorts with my nike runners it stumped me on how i could be like Paul and better minister to the people we were meeting. After praying for a few days and trying to find answers on how to be more like Paul it hit me. I did not have to lower myself by the way i dressed or how i looked ( because i couldn’t ) but i should try to understand and ask questions about these peoples lives and try to put myself in their situation in order to better minister. If they were in search of love, i would talk about Jesus and the way he loves. If they were in search of guidance, i would talk about how God will give guidance when you ask for it. Just being able to sit and hear my team has also been awesome. I have learned from them but also learned by talking myself. Definitely a lot of growth and understanding while in Chitwan. The amount of love and faith some people have is astounding. They have almost nothing compared to average american living, but they love with their whole heart. There was a christian church, and the other team we were with lead the service, and its awesome to see how they worship and pray.

It was an awesome week and I hope to go back one day. I leave for an even bigger hiking trip In less then 24 hours to Pokhara to see more unreached people and minister to them.

Nepal is wild and i have grown such a big heart for it, and its people.

Thank you to everyone for the constant support and love!

Prayer request for the week- Me and my team for good rest because of the big hike that is soon to come!
