I got to preach on the 22nd. I gave a sermon about the Sower and the Seeds. It went very well and it was my first time to preach. What was funny is that before I gave the sermon we ate and the power went out. Our ministry host told us we wouldn’t have church service. After eating we prayed for the family who fed us. I was praying and as soon as I said, “… and God maybe you don’t want me to preach today” and that second the power came on. God kinda called me out and in a little way, told me I was ready to preach for the first time.
We went to a village and saw some healing. We prayed for a man with paralysis in his right arm. We prayed and then he lifted his right arm over his head, but what was weird was that he couldn’t move his left arm. We then prayed for his left arm and he was fully healed. We also got to pray for a woman whose legs and hip hurt. She felt no pain in standing after we prayed. It is super awesome to get be a light in these villages and get to feel god moving.
My team is super blessed with our ministry host. He is super cool and has an awesome attitude and sense of humor. (THIS NEXT PART IS FUNNY AND A JOKE) He has taken us to his house a few times and all of the guys cuddled on the bed… including him… and we were all spooning. He also fed us beef and now I am a fan of cow liver. Christians in India can eat cows and Pastor K (our ministry host) loves his beef. Also, Bo Mark and I bought Loongis. They are literally man skirts and I love them. In the hot Indian weather, it’s nice to get a cool breeze if you are picking up what I’m throwing down.
Well that’s what has been happening through the week. I am in Genesis right now and plan on reading the whole bible throughout the 9 months. So, until next week! Thanks to everyone and dont forget to subscribe for updates!!
ps. Im going to a wedding tomorrow 😉
