Yesterday was sunday, the day we supposed to be at the church, but this sunday was different, I didn’t have to drive to an specific place, I didn’t have an schedule or a program to follow, there was no band, a new experience for me.

As a group we went to a park one block away, we made a circle in the one of the sides of the park and started to sing all together, some people stopped to watch, some other to take a picture or a video, some of them just to see what was happening there.

I have to clarify that the park is the place where all of the dogs of neighborhoods go to play. So here were we as a team ready to start a service without speakers, presentations or anything andelse started to sing.

Two guitars and our voices out loud singing, one of our coaches saw a guy watching the worship time, and started to talk to him, after a minute this guy started to cry as a kid, saying he felt something different there.

I was called to speak with him (I took advantage of my Spanish) and had the chance to know Alejo, and his dog, he is a search and rescue man, he has been far from the Lord in the past few years and somehow watching us sing in a different language, without understanding he knew something different was happening there.

I spoke with him for a few minutes and was enough to understand a simple and basic principle. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20 KJV.

We ended our talk with a prayer and with a lot of tears he said “thank you for showing me God’s love today”

Keep praying for what we are doing here.
