Remembering Suzann in Guatemala.
Seriously though. This country is incredible.
So was El Salvador.
At the end of last month I was remembering Suzanne on the anniversary of the day she went to be with her Daddy. I asked God to give me a reminder of her that day. He chose to do that through her favorite color- orange.
But because He is such a GOOD GOOD Father, He has continued to give me remembrances of her everywhere I go.
The thing about Central America is there are flowers EVERYWHERE. And God has been so kind to me in showing me orange flowers literally everywhere I go! I can’t get away from them! Lol all sorts of different shapes and sizes but ALL orange…
Suzanne always encouraged me in my passions towards missions. She was always so excited when I went on a new trip and wanted to hear all about it.
In all honesty, Suzann is a huge reason why I decided to go ahead with the world race. Seeing the impact that her life brought, seeing the lives touched and changed through her selfless love, seeing how others met Jesus through her… I wanted that.
It put things in perspective for me. Nothing is more important than to know Christ and to make Him known.
Shortly after she passed I had a dream and Suzanne was there. All she said to me was, “Be brave”. This was before I knew anything about the world race. I had no idea what it meant, but I remember it vividly.
So here I am.
Living in Guatemala for the month, with 9 more countries and 9 more months ahead of me.
Sharing the love of Jesus.
Sharing the love that Suzanne lived out in her life daily.
Being brave.
And always remembering…
Suzann.
