THIS IS WAR!

Times will come when Jesus has plans for your life that you are working for, and in the midst of preparation, the devil will throw whatever he can at you to get you to fall. To be transparent with you all, that is where I am right now.

It is one thing to go through hardships of life, but it is another when there is literal spiritual warfare going on in your mind between you and the devil. To be figurative, picture you climbing a wall and a bully at the bottom throwing rocks at you, and pulling at your leg. That is what happens when God is preparing you for something.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

I AM TRYING

I do not want people to know I am struggling. I want people to see that I am strong through this journey, but I am not. I have spent countless hours seeking out Jesus through these battles and storms, only to see Him in the distance and the devil pulling me further away from Him. I get pulled down, I fight back and run to my Jesus. This will not end until I am literally out on the field in the midst of doing the work of Jesus. The devil does not want my squad and me to go on this trip. He does not want us to go and tell these people about the love and grace of our Jesus. He wants to do whatever he can to defeat us, and make us think that there is not point in going.

SWEET VICTORY IN JESUS

The sweet and wonderful thought about these fights is to know that the battle is already won. Jesus has defeated the devil, and no matter what the devil can possibly do, Jesus is still on the throne, and He still loves and cares for His children. I know that nothing in this world can separate me from the love that Jesus gives to me. I know that no one can tell me that the devil has even the slightest chance of winning this battle, because I personally know the one on the throne. Jesus always wins. I follow Jesus, so I win.

Tell the World,
