Let me tell you about our travel day, sorry days. Four to be exact. Here is what happened. 

March 13th

  • 10am—had to be packed up and out of the room. Thankfully we had a hotel nearby we could hang out it, yay wifi and pizza!
  • 5pm—Bus arrived at guest house.
  • 5:30—loaded and on our way!

March 14th

  • 1am—arrived at the airport!
  • 2am-11am—attempted to sleep but failed
  • 11am—went through security and met our best friend Frita who told us about the sky lounge. Hung out there, all you can drink, and eat! And a shower!
  • 3pm—loaded plane and headed out. 6-hour flight.
  • 9pm—landed in Ethiopia.
  • 9pm-11:55pm—hung out in airport. Sung songs and met a Missionary group from Ghana who sang with us!

March 15th

  • 12:30am—boarded the plane and took off. 7-hour flight.
  • 1pm—landed in Bangkok, Thailand. Had to go through health, immigration, and customs.
  • 4pm—arrived at hotel. Took a shower!
  • 5pm—headed to Terminal 21 a 9-story shopping mall, with each floor designed and themed around a famous city.
  • 11:30pm—bed time!

March 16th

  • 8am—woke up to an amazing breakfast buffet
  • 9am—headed to the airport.
  • 10am—took another shuttle to a different airport.
  • 11am—arrived at airport.
  • 1pm—went through immigration and security. And ate McDonalds!
  • 3:30pm—plan took off. 1 hour flight!
  • 4:30—arrived in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Finally! Had to apply for visa, go through immigration and customs.
  • 6:30pm—arrived at Overflow Guesthouse. Walked to another guest house, settled in, turns out it was the wrong house. Had to walk to another guest house. Finally able to relax and eat diner.
  • 9:15pm—went out and explored the town. Be sure to read the next blog!
