Reflect. Refine. Refocus.
The purpose being to dig deep and see how G-d has moved in our lives and the lives of those we have come into contact with over the last two months while also preparing for what’s to come during our stay in Sri Lanka.
Some typical questions have been:
What has been fun? What has your team done well? What has been a challenge for your team? How have you grown? What is the Lord teaching you? etc.
We’ve had great encouragement from our mentor, Stephanie and our coaches, Matt and Kathy as well as that which comes from reuniting with one another as a squad. Coming together helps with those transitional spaces.
This is also the month where we split up into gender groups for Manistry and Womanistry 🙂
Therefore, new teams have been formed and we will focus on how to be invested in the local community where we are stationed. Although I will miss my team, Dauntless, I am looking forward to all G-d has in store for each of us as we pour into one another this way. Even though it may be hard for some to separate out based on gender, there are so many more opportunities for vulnerability and growth when you do.
So here I am looking forward to investing in the vision of who G-d has created us to be and thankful to have a deliberate opportunity to rest while discovering more of who He is in the process.
