Hospitality is an art form
A smile can go a long way
Be quick to listen, slow to speak
People all around the world are hurting and yearning for truth
Structure is helpful but can also be hindering
Being able to flush toilet paper is a luxury as is having a western toilet
The lost will sometimes know what they believe is not quite right but aren’t able to break into freedom without help
Make an effort to assimilate into cultures outside of your own because people respect the effort you make
Try things you have never tried before even if you are scared or hesitant
Appearance, cultural norms, clothes, circumstances, and other people do not define you
Community and connection are important
