Hey everyone. I know it has been quite some time since my last blog post. Boy oh boy to have some stuff to share. Well for starters, I am currently in Zimbabwe Africa. Before I left Nepal I had an unfortunate accident leading to the loss of my phone. My only tool to blog and post pictures and make videos. This was a huge blow because I Lost all the photos that I didn’t post and the videos I had made that were ready to post. It was really hard at first but I soon began to realize just how much of a distraction it was. I was to focused on taking pictures and making videos that I didn’t enjoy the things I was experiencing to the fullest. So I then got on a plane to another country that was just shy of 24 hours worth of travel between flights and layovers; To a place so drastically differently than the prior two. But I didn’t have a phone to take photos so I started to live in the moment. I have begun to pay attention the sunlight, the new smells and sights and most of all, the people.
A huge blessing is that the majority of people here speak good English. Yes it can still be difficult to understand at times but the language barrier is so much less than in Nepal and in India. We met our ministry hosts Adam and Vickie Burke. They are a wonderful couple with three beautiful children, Daniel, Johnny and Gracie. They introduced us to two awesome guys named Litu and Pastor Kolowani, (I think I spelt that right). These two men have made our ministry unpredictable and yet so much fun. We have gone to hospitals to pray over the sick and to pray over children. We have been playing soccer with a bunch of young teens and helping to run a kids club on Saturdays. And the president stepped down after 27 years I think? The who,e country was a giant party that day. I mean the WHOLE country was celebrating. I thought that we prayed a lot in Nepal but we have easily surpassed that already and we are only halfway through this month. And hey! I even got celebrate thanksgiving in Africa. My team and I got to introduce the holiday to our hosts and they loved it. We cooked and baked all our favorite thanksgiving dishes. Even apple pie.

What left is there to say at the moment?
I guess I can talk about myself for a bit.
I have been growing in my faith as each day passes, learning something new or speaking to somebody with so much life in their eyes that it fills me with joy. The mount of prayer that we have been doing has been giving me a greater appreciation for it. I have been struggling with the meaning of some repeating dreams that I’d been having over the course of the trip and I went to fast a few days in faith that God would help me understand. And wouldn’t you know it, God came through like he always does. He gave me a peace and clarity about it. I won’t lie to you guys. I still struggle with the whole team dynamic but I have been growing in understanding and In my courage to not just seclude myself when things get hard. Africa has been amazing so far and I am truly blessed to be here. Thank you guys. Each and everyone of you. For both sharing my blog and donating your funds.
