I spent a total of 23 hours traveling across the world and because of the time change I completely skipped a day. When we arrived it was very interesting. People were everywhere!! And it was 330 in the morning!!! We started our cultural orientation and began learning about India and the people in it.

I had the opportunity to explore this city of hyberadad with a couple of my squad mates and got an interesting experience. I got hit by a homeless man!
My squad mates and I were walking down the road looking for an ATM for one of them when we were approached by a blind man be his son begging for money. We were doing our best to politely say that we had none to give and within 30 or 40 seconds, a women with three kids walked up to us and a another man with a bag full of fruit. All of them begging at us. The children were pulling at our clothes and the one man with the bag began yelling at us. The group I was with consisted of 4 girls and 2 guys, One of which was myself. So there we were getting harassed by 7 people. As I noticed things beginning to escalate I tried getting the girls inside the shop we were closest to because the man would not enter. He did not like us leaving him. so as I began to turn around and enter the shop last he struck me In the neck and shoulder.
When we got back to the place at which we were staying, I told that story to the people who were teaching us about the country and they told me that that’s not normal and that I got the “full Indian experience”.
This whole thing is making me more and more excited to be here. I am excited for the people I will be reaching and those who I will be able to plant seeds into.

Now I will be ministering to people throughout my journey. But things that I want to do that are not part of the core ministry I have to cover on my own.
Whether it’s buying food for someone hungry or going out to play with a bunch of kids. It all will come out of my pocket.
If you still want to support me on this journey through a financial donation, please give through my PayPal at paypal.me/NicksTrip. This way I can do things on my own and even have a little fun in the process.
