“Does what I even do matter?” I’m sure we’ve all wondered that. Sometimes the small acts of service seems insignificant.
We can often wonder, does anyone even notice? Is it even worth it?
It is. Trust me.
I want to share with you an amazing video that one of my teammates Janele made.
Janele is a genuine friend I am blessed to know. Her video shares her heart and a thank you to all of her supporters.
I wanted to share her video to say THANK YOU to everyone who has prayed, encouraged and supported our squad and myself on this journey.
I want to encourage you to know this:
Yes God has done amazing things overseas…BUT the work I’m doing for the Lord is just as important as the work that you are doing for the Lord in the states.
Kingdom work happens all over the world.
Listening to wherever God says “go” is the most important thing. Whether that’s in Africa, Asia, your church, the grocery store, etc.
I want to encourage you to not stop. Don’t stop serving or giving your time. Even when it seems like it may go unnoticed or not seems as glamorous as other ways of serving seem, it’s valued.
God sees and delights. He delights in the details of your life and values your obedience to go and serve wherever and however He calls you to.
Janele said something I think is key:
“Whether God calls us to cross oceans or cross streets, wherever God calls us to carry our cross, let’s listen and let’s go.”
