Hi everyone!

We made it to Ukraine after a 24hr travel day, with 22hrs of it actually on a bus, we did indeed, arrive safely. Praise!

I want to thank you all for praying for my team and I. Praise to God because not only did we make it safely, but we are living like Princesses. Our ministry host is an ex-World Racer and he is the greatest. His name is Klinton and man did the Lord bless him with a big heart. He is a single 50yr old man, living in Ukraine as a missionary, in an apartment, that he opened up to seven, 18yr old girls, and their female leader to live with him for a whole month. If its not hitting you yet, this means invading everything he thought was his, all of his personal space and routine “man things” gone for a month to have us wild American girls. Funny side note, he literally has offered up everything that is his to be ours… except for his one cabinet. Its actually so cute because there are certain little things that you don’t think about that you cannot get over seas. Such as, taco shells, certain seasonings, ranch dressing, Chickfila sauce, etc.. This is literally the ONLY thing he has asked us not to use. He is truly the best. Okay but for real, listen to this…The Lord even blessed him to bless us with BLOW DRYERS and CURLERS!!! Like oh my word, I GET TO BLOW DRY and/or CURL MY HAIR!! This may seem minute, but to have hot water, much less be able to fix my hair, is truly a blessing! I am incredibly grateful for the Lord’s provision and for His son Klinton, who is walking in faithful in obedience of the Lord.

As far as ministry for the month, we will be helping Klinton with ministry projects. The ministry has a coffee shop called, Connections Coffee. It is a coffee shop that has a lot of English, clubs, and movie nights that it hosts. The money from the coffee shop goes to all the ministry stuff. We also will be going to the local university and teaching english, in order to build relationships and invite them to the ministry events or have a gateway to share the gospel. I’m so pumped!! I mean its basically Young Life… in UKRAINE!! We also will be helping an orphanage take care of abandoned infants if we have extra time and the last week we are doing a kids camp. The Lord truly has provided so many amazing opportunities for us to have the privilege of participating in His work.

I will be posting again soon about how the Lord is teaching me how to walk in Confidence vs Pride, as a woman of wisdom in the Lord. So keep your eyes out!
