HI!!!!! I can’t tell you how excited I am to be getting the time to share with all of you guys what I have already experienced, as well as just know I’m talking and connecting to MY PEOPLE <3 back at home.
There are honestly SO MANY things that the Lord has been doing and walking me through just between launch and my first week overseas. I will be sharing a specific story the Lord put on my heart, but if you are interested in more details or to just chat with me, PLEASE email me and/or we can set up a time to FaceTime!! ([email protected]). – note though, our connection to wifi is not everyday, so if I do take a couple days to respond, its most likely that I didn’t see it until then.
Anyways, to the real stuff…
I want to share with you guys my journey from launch to landing in Romania. Two blog posts ago I talked to you guys about how the Lord was asking me to trust him. Well… He wasn’t finished with that trust lesson, and probably never will be;). Starting at launch, when we were signing in, I realized I left my passport, credit card, and vaccine record at home… in Texas. Yes, I know, its was horrible. Luckily my sweet grandparents back at home found it and were able to ship it to me. Only problem was that because of the storm in Houston (where all mail goes through) it wasn’t going to arrive till after my squad had left for our first connection to Romania, if then. I had to sit and trust that if this was the path the Lord had for me, even though I messed up, He would provide a way. I did end up getting my passport and a flight to New York to meet up with my squad, who drove on a bus there. Then Jesus gave me yet another trust moment, the whole Atlanta airport (all the flights) were grounded. My flight was delayed 2, 4, and then 6 hrs. Because of my squads connection in New York, if I did not leave that hour I would have to find and pay my way to Romania which would mean I probably wouldn’t go. In that very moment I asked my team to pray and sat with Jesus and said “Lord, I trust you. If I am suppose to go, make a way.” I called my mom and with in a few minutes the airport announced that the grounding had been lifted and my flight, was the first flight to take off. Then after getting to the airport in New York, my luggage was still sitting in Atlanta. It was suppose to arrive in a few days, at earliest the next day, just in time to make my connection. I was explaining the situation to my mom on the phone, as she was panicking, and told her that I really did trust and believe He had me. That very second I got a call, it had been about an hour since I landed, and the luggage people said that they have no idea how, but my luggage was in the room and I could come get it whenever. Then, I get to my hotel FINALLY and truly I was exhausted and ready to crash, my hotel room somehow had been canceled, even though I had called to confirm and gotten an email that my room was confirmed, and they had no more room. By this time, I knew the devil was just trying every possible thing but that MY KING is so much bigger. I just looked to him and asked the hotel if they were SURE they had NO MORE rooms. They proceeded to tell me they actually have one left, it was a smoking room but it was better than nothing.
MORAL- – The Lord is SO GOOD!! When you are unsure, things go wrong, or not the way you want, if you are willing to surrender to the Lord and TRUST, He will be there. I know that it may not always look like this but I DO KNOW He will always be with me, holding my hand and guiding my path.
I apologize for this being so long, most of my blogs will not be like this, but I HAD to share, and lets face it, I always have lots of words. I love and miss all of you guys and want to thank you again for your love, support, and prayers. I can’t wait to share more and hear from you guys.

!!!!!! Also… I, as well as the ministry I’m serving along side, would like to give you the opportunity to TANGIBLY TRUST the Lord AND participate in the work He is doing.
