About Me

I’m 22 years old and have lived in the general area around Springfield Missouri all of my life (mostly on a farm) with my mom, dad, older sister, and two younger brothers. I will graduate from College of the Ozarks (CofO) in three weeks with a Psychology degree and will move home to spend time with my family and work towards my departure with the World Race in October.

Some of the things I enjoy are farming (from gardening to bucking hay to caring for the animals), swimming, connecting with people, reading, hammocking, hiking with my family, and watching/playing baseball/basketball/football with my siblings.

My goals for the future are simple: bring glory to God in all that I do, and go on the world race as the next step He’s leading me towards. I don’t really know past that. I do however desire to someday be a wife and mother.

So Why the World Race?

I have had a heart for people and missions for as long as I can remember. Last June I had the incredible opportunity to travel through CofO to Belize for a week-long mission trip, and that’s when my passion international missions was awoken. I pursued an opportunity to serve in Belize for at least a year, but that door was closed. So I started looking for other opportunities available. I found the World Race and started doing research on it. I found not only the opportunities to be what I had been dreaming of, but also their views and overall mission to be completely parallel with my heart and passions. The more I learned, the more I knew that this was what God was asking of me. I am extremely excited and at peace with this calling, and I cannot wait to see who God wants to love through me, as well as what He has planned to teach me through this year of international missions.
