Month 5, Vietnam: At the beginning of this month I started a new position as logistics. I replace Coleman who stepped down. As logistics I am in charge of debrief, travel when most of the squad travels, hotels and hostels. The first thing I got to do as a logistics manager is lead a 20 hour train ride from Ho Chi Minh city to Da Nang, Vietnam. The only seats that were in budget where tall backed park benches. Yeah 20 hours on park benches.

So in Vietnam we had new teams. We had to stay in a hotel because it was cause to much suspicion if we stayed with someone because all visitors have to register when they are staying.

Vietnam was really one of my favorite months, In the mornings we walked threw parks or on the beach and just built relationships. At night we taught English. Building relationships and sharing the good news. We got to go camping on the beach with our new friends. We help the church there have a retreat.

Da Nang is the best city I have ever been to. They have miles of beaches, they have rivers, and mountains all around. They have the awesome bridges. (One shoots fire.)

Vietnamese food is some of the best food I have had. There coffee is the best. I am addicted but its find because I’m a Christian so I’m supposed to be addicted to coffee.

I meet so many great people there. Christian’s can’t share there faith there. They can’t do evangelism, they have to be strategic and careful. I tell you though there is going to be a harvest in that country soon. If there’s one thing we know God can’t be keep out for long and the missionaries there are preparing for a revival.

I will be visiting Nam again.
