Hey guys !
I know it’s been a while since I have last posted.
I wanted to update everyone with how I am doing and whats been going on in my life.
Most of you know I switched routes recently. So I will be leaving in August of 2018 now. I couldn’t be more excited honestly. I feel like this is the perfect time for me to go on the race. I feel at peace with the switch and couldn’t be more happier.
The last month has been incredible because i gained a new group. The people on this team are more than just team members. They are my brothers and sisters in Christ and my family. These are the people I am going to be spending the next 2 years with. It’s just so crazy how God is forming this team. He knew way before we even applied which team we would be on , who would be on the team and the countries we would go to. To me that is mind blowing. This team has been incredible so far. We all talk on a daily basis through this group chat were apart of. In only a month we have been vulnerable with each other, cried together, shared our weaknesses and strengths. We pray for each other as well. I honestly feel like iv’e known these people for years. We decided to have a prayer partner during this journey. So we can pray with each other and just be there for one another.
One thing I have been trying to do is give up the control.I don’t like asking for help most of the time. I like to do things on my own, but of course that’s a pride thing. So I am asking for help. I am trying to create a team of people that are wanting to be apart of my journey. The most important team I am needing is a prayer team. I will be keeping you in the loop of what I am needing prayer for, and I would want you to keep me covered in prayer. If your interested in this please let me know! The other group of people would be my fundraising team. I need help with setting up events, getting ideas for events and working as a team to make these things happen. I realize I cant do this on my own and I am asking for help. I have been praying for this team of people for a few weeks now, So if you feel led to help please let me know!
Another quick update: I am 11% funded now! This is huge and I couldn’t be more excited. Thank you for everyone that has helped me this far, I couldn’t have done it without you! I am $96 away from meeting my monthly goal. If you would like to help, you can donate on this blog page.
