As I was spending alone time with God last night the enemy begun attacking me with lies. I prayed through it and the lord gave me the idea to write two letters to myself. One from God and one from Satan. It was honestly so refreshing to write them. I felt like I got so much freedom. I would encourage everyone to try this.
Here is the first letter:
Dear Lindsey,
You are worthless. You are ugly. Your a failure.You will never amount to anything. You are weak. You will always be alone. You will always be the second choice.You are broken and will never truly be healed.You will never be loved. Everyone always leaves your life because the truth is you are not good enough to be loved. Your mother didn’t even love you, that’s why she killed herself.You will never be good enough for anyone. You will always be last in anything you try.You will never be pretty enough for anyone. The only way someone could ever love you is if you give yourself away to them. The only way you are going to be happy is if you are getting drunk and sleeping around. Those guys will love you. You are going to fail on the World Race. You are wasting your time if you think you will make an impact. If your team knew the real you, they would hate you. If only they knew your battles.
