You are SEEN, You are HEARD, You are KNOWN, You are LOVED, You are ENOUGH.
When no one else sees you, God sees you. When no one else cares, God cares.
I went through a lot of heartbreak growing up. I felt unloved and unaccepted. I didn’t know my worth. I tried finding my worth in men, but that just left me feeling worthless all over again. I didn’t understand why.
I didn’t think God truly heard my prayers. I didn’t think God heard me when I was laying in bed late at night crying.I thought I was all alone in this. But I am here to tell you that is all a lie. God hears you, When you are laying in bed crying out to him, He is there with you. When you feel at your lowest, God is there with you. When you feel like nobody is there for you, God is there with you.
When we learn how God’s views us- Who we really are, Everything begins to change!
The truth is, We talk to ourselves multiple times a day, Telling ourselves things that influence how we think. If we get up every morning and look in the mirror and say how ugly we look ,you will start believing that lie.If deep in our heart we believe we’re unworthy, unloved, and inadequate we will start believing it.
Maybe you’ve struggles with seeing yourself accurately your whole life and your wondering if you will ever get past this. The answer is YES!
Changing how we think about ourselves is possible. We just need to get God’s truth in our mind so that it can sink down deep into our heart. We need to renew our minds daily.
How does God really see you?
He see you as forgiven, redeemed, and set apart! He sees you as his daughter and son.
My friend, God sees you far more clearly than we could ever see ourselves. Who you are in the sight of others or even in your own eyes, is not who you are in the sight of God who created and redeemed you. For those who are in Christ , He sees us as His children(1 John 3:1), With a purpose and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Where others see us through the mistakes we’ve made, God sees us with all the potential He placed in us before we were born. When we see ourselves as unworthy, hopeless, useless, and unwanted, He sees us as valuable, and desired, because he sees us through eyes of love and compassion.
How do others see you? how do you see yourself? when you consider those questions, always come back to this truth: The God who created you sees you as so much more than you can ever imagine. Ask him to give you his perspective so you can live as the child of God that you are.
1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellences of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
Galatians 3:26 ” For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.”
John 15:15 ” No longer do I call you servant, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my father I have made known to you.”
Romans 8:37 ” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
Much love,
