A letter to God,
Lord,
Thank you for calling me to serve you. Thank you for calling me to do mission work. Most of all Thank you for leading me to all the elderly woman and the children I have helped made laugh, pray, and share the Love of the Lord with. I pray I continue to grow in obedience to you Lord. I pray I alway obey your call. I pray you continue to work through me in everything I do. Thank you for being with me everyday, keeping me healthy, keeping my mind at peace and on You. I pray that no matter what ministry looks like. No matter if it’s shoveling rocks, helping make cement to build a house, playing in the school yard with kids, dancing with an eighty-year old woman, or going out and telling someone how much God loves his children. I pray you continue to always right there with me, and guiding me, telling me what you want me to do to help lead who I cross paths with closer to you.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Ministry has looked very different from day to day here in Haiti, but God always shows up, He is always present.
My top most favorite days are evangelizing days! Evangelizing was my top worry when coming onto the field, and for it to be my favorite is cool. God works through me the most during these days, but most of all praying for those who need it most has been an amazing experience.
My top realization, I will never not sabbath, sabbath is a huge key for God and I.
