Cuándo me apunte para esta adventura, sin importar mi sentido común, tenía la extraña idea que viviría un momento increible tras otro, y nada nunca sería aburrido o difícil. La ignorancia es atrevida, ¿no? La verdad, no sé por qué pensé que sería así, la vida tiene patrones y fluctúa entre ritmos cotidianos y lo eterno, entonces quisiera compartir lo cotidiano para que tengan un marco de referencia desde el cual pueden interpretar las ideas eternas en mis blogs.
Lunes-Viernes
Desayunamos a las 7.00 para estar listas en nuestras botas de caucho y ropa de trabajo a las 7.30. Despues, nos dividimos en equipos para emprender diferentes tareas en la finca o la propiedad. El equipo que le corresponde la finca alimenta los animales, limpia los recintos de los animales y ordeña las cabras. El equipo que le corresponde la propiedad deshierba, pinta y emprende tareas varias para preparar el campamento para las actividades de verano. Terminamos cerca las 12.30, cuando limpiamos nuestras botas y herramientas y vamos a almorzar. Después del almuerzo, estamos libres hasta que anochezca. De vez en cuando caminamos cuarenta minutos a Lezhe para conectarnos al internet. De resto, descansamos, o pasamos timpo en equiop. La cena es a las 18.00 y nos acostamos a dormir poco después para volver a trabajar el próximo día.
Sábado – Día de aventura
Exploro Albania con otros, siempre sorprendida de las belleza de este país.
Domingo – Día de reposo.
Descanso y me preparo para los retos de la próxima semana.
When I signed up for this adventure, common sense nonwithstanding, I had the strange notion that I would live one incredible moment after another, and nothing would ever be boring or hard. Looking back, I see how bold my ignorance was! really don’t know why I thought it would be like that, real life has patterns, and fluctuates between daily rythms and eternal ideas, so I would like to share daily life so that you can have a point of reference from which you can interpret the eternal ideas in my blogs.
Monday – Friday
We go to breakfast around 7.00 am to be ready in our farm clothes and our rubber boots by 7.30. Afterwards, we divide into teams to tackle different tasks at the farm or on the property. The team on the farm feeds animals, cleans out the animal’s pens, and milks the goats. The team on the property weeds, paints, and does other odd jobs to prepare the campgrounds for the summer programs. Chores are usually done by 12.30, when we clean our boots and tools, and head to lunch. After lunch, we’re free until sundown. On Some days, we take a forty-minute walk to wifi, and others, we rest or have team time. Dinner is promptly at 18.00, and bedtime is shortly afterwards to start work the next day.
Saturday- Adventure Day
I explore Albania and am always surprised by the beuty of this country.
Sunday – Rest day
I rest and prepare for the challenges of the next week.
