Lunes a Viernes – Colegio
Me levanto a cinco y media para que nos recoja la ruta faltando diez para las seis y lleguemos al colegio antes de las ocho. Dependiendo del horario del día, estoy presente entre dos y cuatro clases; dicto Inglés a octavo, observo o hago talleres de escritura con 2 A2 IB (approx. décimo), ayudo a mi profesora en Cuarto con lo que necesite, hago tutorías con un estudiante con un bajo nivel de Inglés en quinto. Entre clases, durante las horas libres, almuerzo con mi equipo, califico los trabajos de los muchachos de octavo y décimo e ingenio sus lecciones. La ruta nos vuelve a recoger a las tres, regresamos al hospedaje a las cuatro y media, descanso un rato, cenamos al rededor de las seis y media, paso tiempo con mi equipo, alisto todo para el siguiente día, y me acuesto para levantarme el próximo día a las cinco y media.
Sábado – Día de aventura
Exploro Ecuador con gente de mi escuadrón. He ido al centro de Quito, al cerro Pichincha, y a Baños de Agua Santa.
Domingo – Día de reposo.
Descanso y me preparo para los retos de la próxima semana.
Monday through Friday – Anderson School
I wake up at five-thirty so that the schoolbus can pick us up at six-fifty so that we can get to school before eight. Depending on the day’s schedule, I am present in at least two of four classes; I teach English in eighth grade, observe or teach writing in 2 A2 IB (the sophomores), help my teacher with whatever she needs in fourth grade, and tutor a low-English student in fifth grade. In between classes, during the free periods, I eat lunch with my team, grade the work of the eighth graders and the sophomores, and lesson plan. The schoolbus picks us up again at three, we arrive at the guest house around four-thirty, I rest a little, we have dinner around six-thrity, we have team time, I get everything ready for th next day, and then I lay down to get up again at five-thirty
Saturday – Adventure day
I explore Ecuador with people from my squad. I’ve been to the center of Quito, the Pichincha mountain, and Baños.
Sunday – Rest Day
I rest and prepare for the challenges of the upcoming week
