I am currently sitting in a coffee shop in Quito, Ecuador and honestly it feels like I never left the race. However at the same time things are completely different now. I am in a position of leadership. I have more responsibilities then the average racer. I have my own group of girls I get the privilege to pour into individually and a whole new squad I get to do life with.

Newness is all around, but the Lord is my constant. He hasn’t changed at all and it is refreshing to have that. To have one thing in my life that isn’t new and changing and different is what I need. I need Jesus, and I always have and always will.

And writing this blog I find myself struggling to not make it perfect and pretty. On a regular basis I write about things the Lord is walking me through and it’s not that he is not walking me through anything, it’s just right now I have not fully and completely put words to what is going on in my mind, heart, and spirit. But it is also only my third day here in this new country and keeping you guys updated is enough.

So for now, life in Ecuador is treating my squad and I well, I absolutely LOVE my leadership team, my squad, and my girls. Life is good because Jesus is good. But don’t you worry, I will DEFINITELY be writing soon on things the Lord is bringing up in me and what he is walking me through. Thanks for reading. Catch ya later.
