Hi Friends!

Just a little update, As of a month or so ago I have decided that I will no longer be participating in The World Race. Instead, I have chosen to join a Passport trip to Ecuador. Along with this change, my funds for the World Race have transferred over, so I am fully funded for this new journey.

First off, I want to once again thank you all for donating and supporting me as I struggled to get to this point. (those who donated for adopt a box, your paintings are coming soon, thanks for your patience.)

Second, some details about my new trip:

I will be Embarking on this new adventure July 2nd and I will return home August 2nd.

Our Ministry will take place in Quito, Ecuador; Which sits high in the Andean foothills at an altitude of 9,350ft. (Can someone say Altitude training? Yes, I get my dose of mountain living this summer!)

We will work with Pan de Vida Ministry doing work that may include the following, depending on the organization’s needs (We will not know our exact schedule until arrival):

  • Kids Ministry (VBS)
  • Sports Ministry (Maybe I’ll find some runners!)
  • Micro-business Projects
  • Construction/work Projects
  • Health Fairs
  • Cooking/Serving Food
  • Helping with Worship

So as you know, for the World Race I was expected to have a tent. For this trip, we are provided a guest house with beds, bathrooms, showers, etc. (So no outdoor ruffing it, I’ll just save the camping for when I come back home.)

There you have it, My current life update. The last order of business I have to take care of is finding my way to Georgia for Launch, then I will be 100% ready to go! (Also, changing to this month long Journey will allow me to stay up to date with paying off my student loan debt. YAY Less Debt!)

I am so excited to finally have my chance to go abroad for ministry work! More Blog posts coming soon!

If you have questions or comments please feel free to reach out!

Thanks again! <3
