Today is my birthday and I am celebrating in Hyderabad, India!!! There was some sadness as this day approached realizing I would not be able to celebrate with my friends and family back home and not knowing what it would be like. But it has been amazing! God is good all the time, including today, and I have never felt more loved and blessed!!!
I got to sleep in and woke up to breakfast in bed curtesy of my dear friend Andrea
I went to the bathroom to find a birthday message all around the mirrors
My friend and teammate Erin blessed me with birthday Oreos… this is a big deal here!!
I got to open my birthday letters from home and some came with fun surprises!
Received birthday messages from my coworkers who I miss and love!!!
Got to video chat with my brother… he didn’t know I took this, sorry Bro love and miss you!
And of course got to spend some quality time with Jesus which is always the best part of my day!!
If you asked me what I would be doing for my birthday before this year I’m guessing none of these things would have been in my answer, but I truly can’t imagine it any other way!!! I know I am exactly where God wants me and doing exactly what he wants me to do! There is no place I’d rather be!! Thanks for all the love and support!!!
