NO WORDS
There were three. One came. The Almighty spoke. She heard and she continues to grow curious.
The language barrier is more difficult here in Asia, but love is an action that speaks louder than words. At the cafe in the village we went to every week, we met a beautiful family who ran the cafe. We tried to speak with them, but it was difficult because none of them spoke English. As time went on they found out about our daily English class. The three young girls in the family started to attend the class and during that same week the oldest daughter came to church. And guess what happened!? My teammate asked if she had ever heard about Jesus and she said no. The majority of the people are Buddhist and there are very few believers. But that day she heard the Good News of Jesus for the first time!
Wow, it’s amazing how the Lord brings people to Him. Even when we have no words that the family could understand, the Lord wanted them. He spoke, leading one to hear the Good News. I pray she would share the Good News with her family, grow in knowing more about Christ, and develop a relationship with Christ. I also pray she would be unashamed of the Gospel and know how deeply she is loved by the One true King! Pray with me and lift up this beautiful family!
