Glorify God through your acts of service:
Every act of service is needed in the body of Christ. Jesus served the body by performing miracles wherever He went, but He also served His disciples by washing their feet. So no matter what ministry you are called to, you are serving those around you, as well as God! Do things to glorify God!
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. – 1 Corinthians? ?10:31?

Trust in God’s plans:
If you couldn’t tell from a couple blogs ago, I had been struggling with my post-race plans. Feeling like God was leading me to one place, but then changing that up. Instead I’m reminded of a lesson He taught me years ago from Jeremiah. It was a good reminder to seek after God with my whole heart and trust in His plans for me!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – ?Jeremiah? ?29:11-13?

Your purpose is to be a living example of a loving God:
Love people wherever you go… period! The love of God is much more powerful than I sometimes realize. People may forget what you said, but they’ll never forget how you made them feel. And the type of love I’m talking about can’t be manufactured within ourselves; no it’s from being filled by God’s love each and every day and overflowing that love onto others that will make all the difference!
We love because he first loved us.” – ?1 John? ?4:19?
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins – ?1 Peter? ?4:8?
