People around the world will inspire you
Most of us came on this trip to love and serve others; however, those same people have been showering us with love and blessing us. We’ve met many people who have left the US or Canada to serve the people in the countries we’ve visited. And among serving them, have also blessed us with a place to stay and countless stories! God is doing incredible things through them, and I hope to share their stories with you in person!

Discipleship
Since this trip, God has been laying on my heart what it looks like to disciple others. To walk alongside others in all their ups and downs, to be a listening ear when they need, but to also call them higher and build them up. I keep trying to find programs that will be disciple me, to train and prepare me to disciple others, but God kindly nudged me this month and told me I’m already equipped. I don’t need any more programs, I just need to go DO and He will continue equipping me. Are there things you need to stop training for and start doing?

This will not be the best year of your life
The World Race has been an amazing experience! We’ve explored multiple cultures, seen crazy events, met phenomenal people, and grew deeper in our relationships with others. A lie that slowly creeps in during these moments, is that this is the best our life will ever be. We’re going to go home and not do anything special or worth noting, but that is the absolute opposite of the truth. This time has been a launching pad for our lives. We’re going to go on and continue living amazing lives and doing amazing things. We’re entering month 10 of our 11 month journey, and it’s been incredible hearing my squadmates talking about what’s in store for them once this race is over. This is the best day of your life. And tomorrow will be the best day of your life. It’s just going to keep getting better 🙂
