I don’t know how to say thank you. When people do things for me, it’s very hard for me to accept it and receive it. The other day, my friend Courtney gave me a gift that meant a lot more to me than she realized. When she gave it to me, I looked at her and said, “Thanks, Court. Go away.” I seriously don’t know what to do to show someone how truly grateful I am. I’m thankful she knows this about me so it wasn’t THAT awkward when I told her to go away. Later I told her that I truly appreciated it and I can’t wait to use it.
So I want to say thank you to all of you because I am now FULLY FUNDED! I’m learning how to say thank you so I’ll just try to explain what being fully funded truly means to me.
This fundraising process wasn’t just about money going towards a mission trip. This fundraising process was about God’s children being obedient, and moving for his kingdom. This fundraising account was used to put the Body of Christ into action. It was used to build relationships, whether old or new. It was used to bring God glory.
1 Corinthians 12: 14-18 says “Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part. If the foot says, ‘ I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,” that does not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body? If the whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything?” But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.
When you’re obedient to the Lord, it makes him smile. He is looking at his children with joy in his heart. Even if you didn’t give money; your prayers, your thoughts, your shares on social media, your love toward me and the people of the world I will have the privilege to meet, that makes him smile. You guys, he just wants you to work together. He just wants us to serve the least of these.
Matthew 25:40 The King will reply, ‘I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these followers of mine, you did it for me!’
You didn’t fund me with $18,100. You brought hope to and Indian woman who has had three miscarriages and is 2 months pregnant because she was lifted up in prayer. You brought joy to a little girl in Haiti when we got to sing and dance with her. You gave a beautiful place for people to sit in God’s presence and heal very old wounds with Him. You brought a sister in Jamaica to proclaim Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior! You awakened souls. I just want you to understand what this means. These are just a few things I have experienced on my World Race. God very well could have done all these things without me. But because of you coming together and your obedience to the Father, I had the PRIVILEGE of getting to be a part of their story with Jesus. So thank you guys so much. I love all of you.
If you’d like to continue donating, I have a personal account that I use to buy all toiletries and to use on adventure days. ALSO, there are a lot more friends on my squad that are not fully funded yet!
Please please please, if you want to see more of my journey, or if you just want to ask questions, even if you don’t know me, please email me! Tell me what you want to see. Ask all the questions you want. PLEASE let me know how I can be praying for you. This isn’t MY journey. This is all for the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and savior. But I want to bring you along for the journey as well. So email me! I love you all so much. God Bless.
