Wow I have just over a month left in the field. I will be back in America on the 22nd of June and back in GA on the 24th! That is crazy.
I just wanted to write a blog to tell everyone a little about me and what it will be like when I return. Suggestions of what to ask and what you should definitely NOT ask! So this blog may be a little scatter brained…. but hey so am I!
So first of all, yes, I have changed. No I’m not a different person entirely. You don’t have to question how to act around me. I am not completely different I have just grown. (See picture above)
Don’t NOT ask me things like how was your trip? Or say things like wasn’t it amazing? Did you have so much fun? How cool you got to travel!
This past year was my life. It was not one big vacation. It was hard and challenging and sometimes very boring. There were times that were fun and I got to have days off and vacations so ask me specifically about those.
Ask me how I have grown? Ask me when I saw the Lord? Ask me what He and I talked about in a specific month? Ask me about the friends I have made?
The more specific the questions the better. It has been my life so ask me about my life specifically and about my walk with the lord!
I want to hear about your year as much as you want to hear about mine. Don’t tell me “same old same old” because I’m sure you have done something or there is some interesting thing happening in your life. I want to know and I want to be reintegrated into your life! So catch me up on you. I don’t want to be interviewed I want to have a conversation with my friend!
The biggest thing I can say is just treat me normal, I mean I’m not gunna say no to flowers or chocolate or picking up the tab to welcome me home ;), but as far as questions…. let’s just talk and hang out and be friends and you will hear all my stories as they come up naturally!
Thanks for reading and I can’t wait to see you all in 46ish days!!! ??
