Hey followers!!

First of all I want to thank all of you for following along for 8 whole months now. I really appreciate when you guys read and comment on these blogs.

Now, I honestly just want to update you all on the many things going on with my trip right now. There have been a lot of changes!!

1. We are in Eastern Europe now. For the remainder of the trip we will be here! I am loving this population. Most people are Eastern Orthodox Christians and I love getting to share the true love of Jesus with them. I love letting them know that they can’t earn God‘s love because they already freely have it!!

2. My parents came to Romania to see me! Wow that was so fun. It was awesome getting to give them a small glimpse of what my life has looked like these past 8 months. It was so very normal to just be able to sit down and talk to them. Getting to talk about faith with them was hard but so good! I can’t wait to get home and see how the week they spent with me has changed them (or hasn’t). I was so lucky to have them with me!! Thanks Mom and Dad for coming!!

3. We had a route order change so I am now in Bulgaria. Then I will be going to Serbia and last Albania. This order rather than the original just made more sense because of Eutopian Union Visas.

4. We had team changes just a few days ago! I had to say goodbye to team Eve (Alison, Sarah, Amanda, and Cimone) ?? . But I get to welcome a new team with Alexa, Katie S., Victoria, Emily, Elle, and Lauren! The new team will be named team Fortress because we are a fortified unit and a stronghold for Jesus wherever we go!!

5. We got new roles on our new team! This time instead of leadership assigning roles we got to ask God and determain the roles as a team. So I am no longer a treaserer and will now be “La Jefa” or lady boss on my new team! I am so honored to be leading this beautiful group of women.

6. My team got picked to be the very first, and only one this month, team from our squad to do what is called “Ask the Lord” or “no host” month. This means that our location, lodging, transport, and ministry are not assigned to us. We ask the Lord and determine all those things as a team and individuals!!

7. The Lord has lead my team to go to Burgas, Bulgaria. I can not wait to see what He does through us there. It is a beautiful place right on the coast of the Black Sea. (Fun fact we didn’t know when we decided our location or team name but have found out that Burgas means Fortress…. OMG isn’t God cool!!)

8. Lastly, I am pumped for the last three months of my race! I can not wait to see how God uses me and grows me!!!

Again, thank you all for following along and supporting me so much!! I will be updating you about what Ask the Lord month looks like soon.

Much Love,

Kasey ??
