Three days……
It has been three days since I learned what my four route choices for the world race are. WOW. It has only been three days but man it has been the longest three days of my life. This decision is one that has not come easy to me. I have agonized about this decision. All the agony made these three days feel like they lasted forever. I prayed and thought and researched and cried and asked everyone I knew for their opinion. In the end this clarity could not have come any later or I might have exploded. So without further ado…. here are the reasons I picked the route I did.
-This route is very diverse
-This route contains countries in the America’s, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia
-This route had the least votes from my friend and family LOL
-This route has refugees, Safari, Malnurishment, ELEPHANTS, Human trafficking, Mt. Everest, Orphans…. and so much more
-This route has my heart
All of the routes had many great options of countries to visit. But I not going on vacation and this trip is not for me. This trip if for GOD. I genuinely feel that this is the route that is not a vacation. This route has the most locations that attract me because of the people and the needs. I am going on this trip to help other and this is the route and the needs that have called to me!
I am so excited to say that I will be going on ROUTE……….. 2!!!!!!
I will be going to Haiti, the Dominican Republic, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, India, Nepal, Romania, Albania, Macedonia, and Serbia!
