So I’m not much of a writer or a story teller, so this doesn’t do justice the excitement that I felt when the reality of this hit me… but Here ya go!!!
During our debrief in Jamaica, as we were worshipping on the roof top, Toni one of our squad coaches felt lead to pray over me. As I sat there singing, she sat next to me, she put her hand on my back and began to pray. She prayed for the Holy Spirit to come over me and give me peace. Only a few second go bye and my heart and my entire being felt light, I began to cry, feeling the overwhelming peace that came over me. She then prayed for joy! I started to laugh hysterically, combined with the peace I was feeling, I was rejoicing in the Holy spirit’s presence…. this is the first time I’ve felt this.
Toni continued to pray for me. She felt that my C5 cervical vertebrae was protruding. And she was right. I’ve known about it for years. Additionally, my spine was also slightly twisted that cause my right leg and foot to plié to the right (point to the right) in other words, my natural posture has been in bad shape for a while. I’ve noticed it in the last couple years.
She prayed for the Lord to re-align my spine. I was still hysterical and at peace at this point. I Completely forgot that she prayed for alignment on my back. After the worship, I was standing on top of this picnic table (being a weirdo) and I looked down and my feet were completely even and straight. I immediately remember what Toni prayed over me.
I stepped down and started to walk and test it out. It’s true. My leg was complete straitened and my cervical protrusion was gone and I was walking the straightest I’ve walked since I could remember. The next day, my brain spent adjusting itself to the new posture of my body.
Working at a physical therapy office, I’ve seen these types of spinal abnormalities, and a lot of work is usually needed to even get a slight improvement.
This happened a week ago. I’m still amazed every time I look at my feet.
Stories from other squads of people getting healed, such as receiving their hearing again. Stories from other people seeing the dead come alive again in the name of Jesus has been amazing and encouraging.
Knowing that the Jesus that performed these miracles is still the same Jesus today. The same Jesus that gave us the spirit that allows us do greater things than Him. John 14:12
My prayer now is. Lord show me more!!!
