During worship on the last night of Launch preparations, one of our squad leaders came up to me and said “I just got this from the Lord for you. You’re already this gold in Christ. The way gold is purified is when the gold smith melts it over and over, taking the impurities out each time. The way he knows that the gold is pure, is when he sees his reflection on it. This next year, you will be challenged in ways that you will be forced to rely on Jesus. Though It may be hard, but through obedience, He will get rid of your impurities bringing you more into His likeness.”
At the beginning of launch training, they gave us these keys that would represent the growth that the lord wants us to encounter as we go through this journey.
As we head to our first country, Haiti, I pray that the Lord would bring me closer into His likeness. to hear His voice and obey with joy knowing that the changes he makes in my heart leads me deeper into his peace, His love and greater intimacy with Himself.
So I am ready. Ready for this adventure that He’s given me. looking forward to the challenges ahead knowing that He is orchestrating everything. Ready for the Changes that would bring me closer to Him. Ready to be a part of His kingdom. Ready to learn to love others as He loves us!!!
